Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure database is tracking more than 1,050 H₂ projects around the world. Nearly half of these investments are being made in Western Europe, followed by the Asia-Pacific region (21%) and the U.S. (13%). In total, these three regions equal more than 80% of total project market share. When analyzed by production path, nearly 75% of H₂ projects are green, followed by blue (22%). These investments are being made to help curb carbon emissions and provide a pathway to low- and zero-carbon emitting economies.H₂T
