H2Tech: Global Projects Data

Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure (GEI) database is tracking more than 1,420 active hydrogen (H2) projects globally. Most active H2 production projects use a green pathway (via renewable power and electrolysis), followed by a blue production pathway. Western Europe continues to be the leader in total active projects, followed by Asia and the U.S. These three regions comprise nearly 80% of active H2 project market share globally, with Western Europe holding 48% alone.
