H2Tech: Global Projects Data

Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure (GEI) database is tracking nearly 1,360 active H2 projects globally. With the various pathways for H2 production, the overwhelming majority of projects focus on a green H2 route (i.e., using renewable energy). Nearly 85% of active H2 projects are via a green route, followed by blue H2 production at 15%. Blue H2 is created using conventional natural gas with carbon capture. Most active projects are in Western Europe, followed by Asia and the U.S. H2T
