Gasunie and Storag Etzel start filling H2 caverns and constructing the above-ground facility for the H2CAST Etzel pilot project
In Lower Saxony’s Etzel, the H2CAST pilot project, which involves converting two existing salt caverns for H2 storage, is now entering the next phase: Gasunie and Storag Etzel have started jointly injecting around 90 tons of H2 into two existing caverns.
Vilnius City Municipality (Lithuania) to construct 3-MW green H2 plant
Vilnius takes a major step towards sustainable energy with the construction of a green H2 plant in the capital city. The H2 produced at the facility will power 16 public transport buses, replacing diesel-fueled vehicles and cutting an estimated 1,414 tpy of CO₂ emissions.
