SFC Energy unveils fuel-cell technologies for camping in Düsseldorf

SFC Energy AG has developed energy supply systems for environmentally friendly and climate neutral camping at the Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, available from August 28 until September 5.

The SFC fair team sis showcasing environmentally friendly power generators for stationary camping and campground applications, based on hydrogen and direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) technology.

Paired with a solar power system, the EFOY fuel cell is capable of providing onboard power to parking spaces if the parking space itself does not have access to the conventional power grid. Via the EFOY Cloud, users can control the entire management of the fuel cell, locate the unit, adjust it to individual environmental conditions via remote control, or analyze the data history.

The EFOY Hydrogen for applications in the power range from 2.5 to 50 kW opens up additional possibilities. With the addition of a solar module and electrolyzer, campsites produce green hydrogen and, for example, operate a hydrogen filling station for their visitors.

"We are seizing opportunities to make camping vacations even more environmentally friendly and to make a clear contribution in the ‘race-to-zero’ of the industry," said Dr. Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC Energy AG. "To this end, we have solutions for motor homes and the campsite infrastructure in our portfolio with hydrogen and methanol fuel cells from our EFOY series."
