On behalf of the Western-Inter States Hydrogen Hub (WISHH), the Wyoming Energy Authority is issuing a request for proposals for a prime contractor. This position will assist efforts across the four-state region to submit a proposal to the Department of Energy for the funding opportunity announcement Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs. If awarded, the prime contractor will manage the implementation of the regional H₂ hub project.

On February 23, 2022, Wyoming joined the states of Colorado, New Mexico and Utah to sign a MoU to create the WISHH coalition. WISHH has been coordinating and developing a joint application for a regional clean H₂ hub allocation in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

The Request for Proposals opened on August 19th and will close on August 16th, 2022.
