Wyoming Energy Authority to issue H2 proposals to U.S. Department of Energy

On behalf of the Western-Inter States Hydrogen Hub (WISHH), the Wyoming Energy Authority is issuing a request for proposals for a prime contractor. This position will assist efforts across the four-state region to submit a proposal to the Department of Energy for the funding opportunity announcement Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs. If awarded, the prime contractor will manage the implementation of the regional H2 hub project.

On February 23, 2022, Wyoming joined the states of Colorado, New Mexico and Utah to sign a MoU to create the WISHH coalition. WISHH has been coordinating and developing a joint application for a regional clean H2 hub allocation in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

The Request for Proposals opened on August 19th and will close on August 16th, 2022.
