According to Louisiana Economic Development, CF Industries, CF Industries is investing $198.50 MM to build a carbon dioxide and dehydration unit at its Ascension Parish plant in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. The project will enable CF Industries to mitigate carbon emissions. According to the operator, up to 6,000 tpd of carbon dioxide will be captured then liquefied and transported via pipeline to a sequestration site. This process will enable CF Industries to produce up to 1.7 MMtpy of blue ammonia.
