Number 10: TotalEnergies and Air Liquide innovate to produce renewable, low-carbon H2 at the Grandpuits zero-crude platform

TotalEnergies and Air Liquide are innovating to produce and valorize renewable, low-carbon H2 at the Grandpuits zero crude platform. Under a long-term contract committing TotalEnergies to purchase the H2 produced for the needs of its platform, Air Liquide will invest over €130 MM in the construction and operation of a new unit producing H2. 

Number 9: Shell Catalysts & Technologies’ deoxygenation catalyst qualified for green H2 purification

Shell Catalysts & Technologies’ deoxygenation catalyst has been qualified for the purification of H2 gas produced electrolytically in Shell’s green H2 projects. Crucially, the qualification was made only after the catalyst’s performance in transient conditions had been confirmed.

Number 8: Enbridge Gas' Canadian H2-blending project is fully operational

Enbridge Gas Inc., in partnership with Cummins Inc. and with support from Sustainable Development Technology Canada, the Canadian Gas Association and NGIF Capital Corp., revealed that the H2-blending project is now fully operational and successfully serving the Markham community.

GE Gas Power and Shell Global Solutions announced they have signed a development agreement to pursue potential pathways aiming to reduce the carbon intensity of Shell’s liquified natural gas supply projects around the world.
Number 6: EODev launches a range of high power H2 generators
EODev announced the commercialization of packaged solutions over the entire power range, from 10 to 1,750kVA. The first models of this new range will enter production in 2024 and will be available on order from the first half of 2023.
