Porsche plans to abandon internal combustion engine model

According to Reuters, Porsche plans to make 80% of its sales electric vehicles by 2030, with the iconic 911 being the only internal combustion engine model left standing. The company will electrify its compact SUV Macan, followed by the 718 sports car and then the best-selling Cayenne.

Porsche's investment in eFuels is also closely watched, but experts believe eFuels will only be used in niche, high-end models, and major automakers will likely avoid new eFuel models after 2035. Smaller carmakers like Morgan Motor Co and Briggs Automotive Company are targeting customers who can afford the expensive fuel.
