TES launches new capacity booking round at Wilhelmshaven green energy hub

Tree Energy Solutions (TES) announced the launch of a second procurement procedure for long-term terminal capacities at the Wilhelmshaven Green Energy Hub. Following the success of the initial Open Season and the positive market response, TES invites market participants to submit non-binding expressions of interest for additional capacity allocation.

The Wilhelmshaven Green Energy Hub is a pivotal element in TES's commitment to decarbonize Germany and neighboring markets by facilitating the import of both conventional liquefied natural gas (LNG) and green H2 based electric natural gas (eNG).

For the second procurement procedure, long-term terminal capacities will be allocated to customers on a first committed first served (FCFS) basis. This allocation mechanism ensures transparency and non-discrimination, assuring that all parties have equal access to the import terminal.
