According to Reuters, Mexico's government has ordered Pemex to temporarily take over a privately-operated H2 plant in one of its largest refineries. This follows President Lopez Obrador's decree to tighten state control over the energy market.
Mexico depends on third parties for H2 supply, which puts the production of gasoline and diesel at risk. Lopez Obrador has clashed with big businesses in the energy sector before, accusing political opponents of rigging the market for corporate elites.
