Egypt inks $40-B deal for green H2 projects

(Reuters)--Egypt has signed seven MoUs with international developers in the fields of green H2 and renewable energy in the Suez Canal Economic Zone that could lead to total investment worth around $40 B over 10 yr, according to a cabinet statement. Investment of about $12 B is expected for the pilot phase, followed by a further $29 B for the first phase.
