H2i Technology successfully completes independent testing of its H2 injection system

H2i Technology has completed independent testing of its H2 enhancement system which has proprietary software to manage the injection of H2 into a diesel engine to reduce emissions and fuel costs.

The results have shown that H2i Technology’s system has the potential to deliver industry-leading results in fuel, NOx, CO2 and smoke opacity reduction when attached to a diesel engine. Independent test results on a 220-kw generator are as follows:

  • Fuel savings of 24.5%-27.1%
  • Exhaust NOx reduction of 29.8%-31.2%
  • Opacity reduction of 41.5%-44.5%
  • CO2 reduction of 19.4%.

The testing was conducted by a master mechanic under commercial conditions and continuous operation and measured against Automotive Industry Standards.

The company says the promising results have come from hundreds of hours of internal trials at its R&D and Production Centre.

H2i Technology is now moving forward with commercializing its operations, with installations planned for the Middle East, Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia, with a focus on the steel/iron manufacturing, agriculture, construction, remote communities, mining and hospitality/tourism sectors.

The company will support its growth through the strong supply chain and manufacturing capabilities it has built locally in Australia, with the ability to produce 1,000 units a month.

Research by Gordon Capital also shows there are 20-MM diesel generators globally that are suitable for H2i Technology's system, while its disruptive pricing mode delivers a 12 mos-18 mos payback period on fuel savings per unit.

In the coming days, H2i Technology will launch a capital raise to finance the delivery of its global sales opportunities.

“This is an extremely exciting time for H2i Technology, we have received independent verification of our technology which is supported by our local supply chain and manufacturing capabilities that can deliver 1000-plus units per month on demand,” said H2i Technology’s Chairman, David Vinson.

“We believe we have built a strong platform that is ready for global expansion and will deliver on the sales opportunity we have at hand.”
