Peru's Minister of Energy and Mines, Rómulo Mucho, revealed plans for over $12.5 B in investments by companies to establish green H₂ plants in Peru. United H2 Limited (UHL), focusing on H₂ projects, has significant interests in Latin America, including subsidiary Alpha H2's H₂ injection systems, alongside 30 other H₂ ventures globally.

UHL aims to develop revenue-generating companies with a target of exceeding $100 MM in revenue by 2026, as part of its strategy to build a global H₂ ecosystem ahead of a planned public listing.
