Pier Solutions and H2scan to bring H2 sensor technology to Europe

Pier Solutions has announced a strategic partnership with H2scan to bring H2 sensor technology to Europe, enabling Pier Solutions to be a key part of expanding H2scan’s global reach. The partnership leverages California-based H2scan's extensive experience in developing state-of-the-art sensing technology and Aberdeen-based Pier Solutions deep engagement and experience of H2 applications within the wider energy transition arena. The offering addresses the critical need for accurate and reliable H2 sensing to support intelligent systems.

The 5th generation H2 sensor family, developed by H2scan, incorporates patented, cutting-edge technology surpassing current industry standards. It offers accuracy, sensitivity, reliability and longevity, making it an indispensable addition for ensuring safety in general and hazardous H2 applications and locations. These applications include fuel cells, electrolyzers, H2 storage, H2 production, area safety monitoring and blending and distribution systems.

With the increasing global interest in clean energy and the rapid growth of the H2 market, there is a growing demand for advanced sensing solutions that can effectively detect and monitor H2 levels.
