Jakson Green INFINITY ships electrolyzer to power India’s largest urban mobility refueling station

Jakson Green INFINITY, a leading electrolyzer manufacturing arm of Jakson Green, announced a significant milestone in India’s green H2 journey. The company has successfully shipped its first batch of 3.8-MW electrolyzers, which will be deployed further to power India’s inaugural green H2 refueling station for urban mobility in National Capital Region (NCR), India's leading power generation company.

This achievement marks a pivotal moment in company’s commitment to driving the adoption of green H2 in India. Electrolyzer technology, manufactured at its state-of-the-art facility in Greater Noida, will play a crucial role in producing clean, H2 fuel for vehicles and various other green applications.

The imported electrolyzer stack was integrated with the Balance of Plant components which were indigenously designed, engineered, and manufactured at the greater Noida facility. This strategic approach not only strengthens the domestic supply chain through high local value addition factor but also ensures optimal system integration and performance.

“We are thrilled to be at the forefront of India’s green H2 revolution,” said Mr. Bikesh Ogra, MD & CEO at Jakson Green. “The project is expected to significantly contribute towards propelling India’s low carbon journey. Our project reinforces H2's crucial role as a new energy transition fuel, reducing India's dependence on imported crude oil and minimizing pollution. This sets us apart as a pioneering player in electrolyzer manufacturing, and we remain committed to building infrastructure that promotes H2-fueled vehicles.”

Mr. Bhaskar Bose, Head - Manufacturing from Jakson Green INFINITY, said, “Our unwavering focus on safety, quality, and superior technology has been instrumental in our success as a pioneer in India's burgeoning electrolyzer manufacturing industry. Given the novelty of this technology in India, we faced unique challenges in establishing efficient in-house operations. However, through meticulous planning, rigorous testing, and the dedication of our skilled team, we have overcome these hurdles and delivered electrolyzers that meet the highest industry standards.”

Jakson Green INFINITY’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has a current capacity of 300 MW, enabling the company to meet the increasing demand for electrolyzers in the Indian market. The company is planning to expand its manufacturing capacity and introduce new technologies to further strengthen its position as a leader in the green H2 industry.
