Jolt Solutions has signed a cooperation agreement with Ansaldo Green Tech, a division of the Ansaldo Energia Group.

The contract covers the supply of electrodes, a critical component for the manufacture of the anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyzer that Ansaldo Green Tech has developed. The innovative electrolyzer, based on 1-MW AEM single stack, will be installed in industrial installation for the production of green H₂.

The collaboration between Ansaldo & Jolt secures an important part of the supply chain for electrolyzer manufacturing and helps Ansaldo Green Tech in their plans to deploy 300-MW/yr capacity from its production site in Genoa, as part of its IPCEI Project funded by the European Union, Next Generation EU.
