The Matmut Group announced that it will launch a collaboration with INOCEL starting this year by initiating a project to acquire a H2 generator to equip the premises of its head office located at 66 rue de Sotteville, in Rouen (Seine-Maritime).
Both because its strategic plan running until 2026, "Objective: Impact!" is notably structured around the subject of sustainability, but also because as part of its CSR policy, the Matmut Group is interested in all cleaner energy solutions, it intends to establish a structuring collaboration with INOCEL.
While the head office equipment project must be fully in line with the company's decarbonization trajectory, the Matmut Group is adopting a real approach to supporting INOCEL.
Thus, in addition to an investment already made within the structure and the project to acquire a H2 generator, Matmut intends to participate in its development, notably through the participation of Matmut employees in joint working groups.
A key point is to enable INOCEL, thanks to the perspective and skills of employees from a leading tertiary company, such as Matmut, to better understand the challenges of similar companies, whether in the regulatory field or from a technical point of view, and therefore to better calibrate its current and future offers in terms of H2 generators.
Commenting on the collaboration initiated, Nicolas Gomart, Vice-President and Managing Director of the Matmut Group, said, "Matmut is a group historically close to the players in the real economy that are companies, in particular start-ups, VSEs, SMEs, etc. We are committed, to the best of our ability, to contributing to their development and their innovation approach. The issues of French and European sovereignty, in particular energy autonomy, are also a concern. Finally, H2 fuel cells represent a future, sustainable solution, and we therefore wish to contribute, at our level, to the growth of this technology."
Jules Billiet, Managing Director of INOCEL, said, "This collaboration with Matmut represents a key step forward in the democratization of H2 for tertiary infrastructure. Through this project, we are demonstrating that INOCEL H2 generators offer carbon-free energy solutions that are perfectly suited to the needs of companies looking for a reliable and efficient solution to meet the challenges of the energy transition."
