ITM Power subsidiary Hydropulse and Eternal Power join forces to fast-track green H2 for German industrial customers

Hydropulse GmbH, the newly launched green H2 venture from ITM Power, announced a strategic partnership with Eternal Power GmbH, a leading renewable energy developer, to accelerate the deployment of industrial H2 projects across Germany.

This collaboration will fast-track project development by combining Hydropulse’s technology access and unique H2-as-a-service model with Eternal Power’s on-the-ground development expertise and customer access — unlocking projects that were previously stuck due to complexity, capital cost, high upfront investments or execution delays.

Hydropulse builds, owns and operates containerized green H2 plants tailored to industrial customers, with no upfront investment, no technology risk, and a fully managed long-term supply model. Eternal Power will now help identify, structure and drive projects through key development milestones, including permitting and commercial coordination.

“With Eternal Power at our side, we can move faster and deliver smarter—getting H2 to industrial users who need it today, not years down the line,” said Dennis Schulz, CEO of ITM Power and Managing Director of Hydropulse. “This partnership is about turning potential into reality and unlocking serious near-term value for customers and shareholders by removing key barriers to H2 adoption.”

“Hydropulse is building the bridge between electrolyzer technology and real-world use,” said Moritz Schwencke, CEO of Eternal Power. “Together with ITM Power and its standardized PEM electrolyzer systems, we’re ready to speed up on-site deployment and contribute to a faster ramp-up of the H2 economy in Germany.”

The partnership will target industrial H2 users, where the Hydropulse H2-as-a-service model removes traditional CAPEX and investment risk barriers, and Eternal Power’s project development expertise and local know-how ensure that projects move fast.
