H2i partners with Oper8 Global to accelerate expansion of clean burn air injection system

H2i Group Limited has announced a new reseller partnership with Oper8 Global, a subsidiary of Viridis Green Data Centres and part of the New Energy Opportunities Limited (NEO) Group.

This partnership represents a major step in H2i’s national rollout, following successful installations of its Clean Burn Air Injection System technology across Asia and the Middle East.

H2i’s proprietary system manages the injection of gas into the air intake of diesel engines, with a focus on heavy equipment, to significantly reduce emissions and fuel usage.

Independently tested and commercially deployed, the technology has demonstrated:

  • Up to 27% fuel savings
  • Up to 19% reduction in CO₂ emissions
  • Up to 31% reduction in nitrogen oxides (NOx)
  • Up to 44% reduction in exhaust opacity.

These results were achieved on large diesel generators operating under commercial conditions, validating H2i’s performance in harsh and high-demand environments. For large diesel operators, the system offers the potential to save millions of dollars annually in fuel costs—delivering a rapid return on investment while supporting environmental goals.

By partnering with Oper8—who has delivered solutions to enterprise and government clients including CSIRO, Telstra, Vocus, NBN, the University of Melbourne, and multiple government departments—H2i is well-positioned to scale deployment across Australia's infrastructure, resources, and telecommunications sectors.

Both companies are currently working to finalize an installation with a major Australian customer, which is expected to anchor a significant sales pipeline.

David Vinson, Chairman of H2i Group, said, “It’s great to begin generating opportunities in Australia after completing successful trials across Asia and the Middle East with some of the world’s largest companies. We’re proud to partner with Oper8 to help Australian organizations reduce emissions and lower costs with proven, ready-to-deploy technology.”

Mike Bull, Managing Director of VIRIDIS and Oper8 Global, said, “This partnership gives our sales team an excellent opportunity to cross-sell across our client network, where we believe there is a real and growing demand for this kind of fuel-reduction technology. It’s a natural fit for our customers who rely on mission-critical, high-load infrastructure.”

Will Davidson, CEO of New Energy Opportunities Limited (NEO), added, “It’s fantastic to see cross-pollination happening across the NEO portfolio. Connecting H2i’s emissions-reduction technology with Oper8’s customer base reflects our broader strategy of delivering practical, clean energy solutions on a global scale.”
