NeuEN Green Energy—a joint venture between India’s BPCL and Singapore’s Sembcorp Industries—has announced plans to supply 10,000 tpy of green H2 to Numaligarh Refinery at a record-low price.
The project includes development of a green H2 production facility at the refinery in Assam, India. The agreed price of $2.98 per kilogram marks the lowest achieved in the country so far.
Commercial operations are expected to begin in 2028.
