Electrolyzers

The Netherlands Agency Enterprise has granted RWE a funding commitment of €124.9 MM for its Eemshydrogen project. Eemshydrogen is a project to build a 50-MW electrolysis plant at RWE's site in Eemshaven to produce green H₂.

May’s H₂Tech Tech Spotlight consists of new H₂ fuel cells, an open-source toolkit to measure H₂’s carbon intensity, iridium-free catalyst coated anion exchange membranes and an innovative direct air capture (DAC) green methanol offshore production platform.

Topsoe announced plans to build a cutting-edge factory in Chesterfield, Virginia. The factory will manufacture advanced, energy efficient solid oxide electrolyzer cells that are essential to the efficient production of clean H₂ and derivatives like eAmmonia and eMethanol.

Linde announced its subsidiary White Martins will build, own and operate a second electrolyzer to produce green H₂ for the southeast region of Brazil.

After receiving an order for a 100-MW electrolyzer last year, Sunfire is now participating in the next significant project: conducting the FEED for a substantial 500-MW H₂ project scheduled for operation by 2028.

Splitwaters is a Houston‐based electrolyzer manufacturer and engineering, procurement and construction firm. The company aims to be a one-stop shop for green H₂ projects. Splitwaters removes the coordination between electrolyzer manufacturers, engineering and construction companies and procurement markups.

Singulus Technologies, a leading technology provider for vacuum coating technology, has introduced its new range of state-of-the-art physical vapor deposition sputtering systems for components for fuel cells and proton exchange membrane electrolyzers.

HydrogenPro ASA has secured $7.59 MM in new equity through a private placement of new shares towards ANDRITZ AG, an international technology group listed on the Vienna stock exchange and one of the leading companies within green H₂ plants and solutions.
