Hexagon Purus selected by New Flyer for the H2 bus market in North America
Hexagon Purus will provide its Type 4 H2 storage cylinders for New Flyer’s serially produced H2 fuel cell electric transit bus, the Xcelsior CHARGE H2, enabling a driving range of up to 350 miles/560 km on a single refueling.

PowerTap provides update on Gen3 onsite blue H2 technology
PowerTap Hydrogen Fueling and T2M Global have further progressed the engineering and supply chain validation of the PowerTap Gen3 modular H2 production and dispensing unit in PowerTap’s plan to establish light-duty and heavy-duty fuel cell electric vehicle H2 refueling stations by 2024.

Calvera Hydrogen develops H2 transport tube trailer model for Shell Hydrogen
Calvera Hydrogen has developed a H2 tube trailer model with the largest capacity in the world. The equipment is designed to transport 1 ton of H2 on the U.S. roads and more than 1.3 ton on EU roads (due to the different road weight regulations of each region), with a working pressure of 517 bar.

Tenneco establishes new test facilities for H2-powered internal combustion engines
Tenneco has established new test facilities for H2-powered internal combustion engines (ICEs) at its Powertrain test centers in Burscheid, Germany, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. These two test cells specifically dedicated to H2 ICEs enhance the company's globally integrated ICE test capabilities, supporting original equipment engine and vehicle manufacturers as they decarbonize the ICE.

H2Tech: Projects Update
The Germany government has announced that it may provide Namibia €10 B to build a new green H2 production complex. This infusion of capital will help develop Hyphen Hydrogen Energy’s complex. The project in the port town of Luederitz consists of a solar and wind farm that will provide feedstock to produce green H2.
H2Tech: Global Projects Data
Gulf Energy Information’s Global Energy Infrastructure database is tracking more than 1,030 H2 projects around the world. This is nearly 200 more projects than what the database was tracking in January 2021. Nearly half of these investments are being made in Western Europe, followed by the Asia-Pacific region (21%) and the U.S. (13%). When analyzed by production path, nearly 75% of H2 projects are green, followed by blue (23%).

Linde to increase green H2 production in California
Linde announced plans to increase its green H2 production capacity in Ontario, California, in response to growing demand from the mobility market.
